I wanted to try another restaurnt in Cebu Area, but wanted try a formal dinning. So my uncle suggested we choose restaurnt in parkmall cause they have a lot of restaurnts with view of outside and would be enjoyable.

So we choose Pier One because on there website it look like a happening place to be. Had good food choices and even a bar. So we went there to try it out. The restaurnt looked real nice upstairs and nice. However, my mom has trouble climibing the stairs and they have no elevators so we seated downstairs near the kitchen.

The waiter happily greeted us and we were seated and given the menus. When we ready the waiter was prompt. However some items we tried to order they were out of even some soft drinks they did not have which was disappointed... even the bar was closed.

We ended up ordering Pancit gusado, chop suey, baked oysters, chicharon bulaklak...

Pancit: This is way too salted. I love salty tasting foods but even for me this was salty. If it wasnt so salty this would have been a good dish here.





Chop Suey: This was the best dish of the night. Even though not big veggie eater. This was well season and tasted great.





Oysters: Oyesters fresh all salty alone. However when you add butter and cheese on top of that makes it even more salty. So that what PIER ONE did so this was just too salty.











Chichron Bulaklak: This is one of my favorite dishes to order when we go out. So i may be bias on this i love this dish. This one wasnt that bad it was season correct and fried good.







Conclusion: Not a bad place but there food was way too salty for us. I think one of restaurant people dont go to eat but go to drink. So maybe after 9 when the bar opens it might be a different experience. So this experience wasnt all that. There website made it look bettter than it is. Dont get me wrong there food wasnt bad but just salty for our tastes.

I was introduced to this place by my cousin. I was craving for filipino bbq and he took us here. First time every eating out in the Cebu or the Philippines. I was new to the country from the States back then when i visited here.


I never seen anything like this. Every stand was selling bbq and smoke was filling the place. But the smell of bbq was overtaking me and calling me to eat there LOL. When i tasted the food i was fan foreever. I love the taste of bbq from here. It delicous and juicy and not over cooked or dry like places i have tried in my pervious life in the states.

Second time i tried Filipino Somai. My aunt bought some from where my cousin lives in Tisa and so far nothing beats the one in Tisa. However Somai here is actually good. It would be a close runner up in a race.

The chicken BBQ is still the best here. It still the most juicy and great taste Chicken BBQ i have tasted so far. Still nothing beats there Chicken.

There Pork BBQ is great though i have tasted pork BBQ taste good as or even better then larison.

Conculsion: I would highly recommend going here. Its a great place to have some delicous bbq and also very affordable.
